Expanded Bus Service in Meriden

Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays

Service on Meriden Routes 561, 563, 564, 565 and 566 is being expanded to operate 7 days a week including weeknights and Saturday nights.  Please refer to an updated timetable for more information.

561 – Meriden Mall

Route 561 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every 30 to 60 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays.

563 – Yale Acres

Route 563 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sundays.

564 – South Meriden

Route 564 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays.

565 – West Main Street

Route 565 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays.  Buses will continue to provide service to Platt High School on a part-time basis.

566 – East Main Street

Route 566 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Buses will continue to provide service to Maloney High School, the Connecticut Depart of Children & Families and Corporate Court on a part-time basis.
