Spencer Street Park & Ride closing temporarily for milling and paving

CTtransit will be upgrading the parking lot of the Spencer Street Park & Ride, prompting its temporary closure this weekend and next.

Starting Wednesday, October 28, at 6 p.m., the Park & Ride will close for milling and paving work. All vehicles will need to be removed by 8 p.m. on Wednesday to avoid possible towing at the owner's expense. Following the completion of the work, the Park & Ride is scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 2, at 6 a.m.

The following week, beginning Friday, November 6 at 6 p.m., the Park & Ride will be closed again to allow restriping of the parking lot. Vehicles will again need to be removed by 8 p.m. on Friday to avoid possible towing. Once the restriping is done, the Park & Ride will reopen on Monday, November 9, at 6 a.m.

During the closures:

  • All trips on Routes 83 and 121 will stop on Spencer Street only and will not enter the lot
  • A regular schedule will remain in effect
