Buckland Park & Ride closing temporarily for parking lot striping

Following last weekend's milling and paving of the Buckland Park & Ride, CTtransit will be closing the parking lot this weekend to allow restriping of the parking lot.

Beginning Friday, October 30, at 6 p.m., the parking lot will be closed to allow crews to complete the work. All vehicles will need to be removed by 8 p.m. on Friday to avoid possible towing at the owner's expense. The Park & Ride is scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 2, at 6 a.m.

During the closure, buses will operate on a regular schedule but will not stop inside the lot. Customers are advised to consider the following alternate facilities:

  • Green Circle Park & Ride (Vernon), Route 94
  • Reservoir Road Park & Ride (Vernon), Route 913
